This field is "The Birthplace of Little League Baseball". Located on West Fourth Street near Memorial Park/Bowman Field, this field was the "Home of the First 12 Little League Baseball World Series" from 1947 thru 1958. It was on a site now called Park Point - just several hundred yards away - that the first Little League Game was played on June 6, 1939.

Piper Aviation Museum was established to showcase the rich history of Piper Aircraft Company, as well as the remarkable accomplishments of William T. Piper Sr. and sons. The museum’s collection includes aircraft and aircraft equipment, an ever-expanding archives collection of corporate and family records, flight journals and magazines, photographs, and memorabilia, some of which are on display. The collection begins with the establishment of Piper Aircraft Company in 1937 and continues through history up until present day at the Vero Beach plant in Florida. The hangar in the museum has numerous aircraft that bridge the history of Piper, including the only Piper PT-1 World War II military trainer plane in the world. Lock Haven is known as “the home of the Piper Cub,” and the Piper Aviation Museum invites you to come and explore the history of Piper and Lock Haven.

Eber Culver designed and built this house on Millionaires' Row in 1888 for E.A. Rowley, one of the wealthiest men in Pennsylvania. It is one of the most architecturally significant houses in the Commonwealth. The residence had the finest plaster moldings and ceiling medallions in the city as well as expensive English Minton Tiles in each fireplace and the vestibule. An even more significant feature of the house is the breathtaking Tiffany-quality stained glass windows. The most amazing thing about this mansion is that it still exists, more than 115 years later.
